Project Statement
In November of 2018 I headed to Bullough’s Pond, located a mile from my home in Newton, Massachusetts, to photograph a reflection for a photography course I was taking. Little did I know that I would still be photographing this three-acre suburban pond eight years later!
Sitting at the edge of the pond waiting for the clouds has become an almost daily meditation. While I am focused on the clouds, their reflections, the ducks swimming by, the Canada geese flying overhead, and the occasional turtle or muskrat, my own worries melt away, and I am left feeling much better.
